The inaugural World Legends Pro T20 League 2026 is set to bring nostalgia, star power and high-voltage cricket to Indian shores as the tournament runs from January 26 to February 4, 2026. Hosted entirely at the 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium, the league marks the return of top-level cricket to Goa after several years.
The opening clash on January 26 will see the Delhi Warriors face off against the Dubai Royals, setting the tone for a competition that promises flair, fireworks and familiar faces. Over ten action-packed days, fans will witness 18 matches featuring six franchises - Delhi Warriors, Dubai Royals, Rajasthan Lions, Pune Panthers, Gurugram Thunders and Maharashtra Tycoons.
The league will follow a single round-robin format, with each team playing the others once. The top four sides at the end of the league stage will qualify for the semi-finals on February 3, while the championship match will be played on February 4. Net run rate will serve as the tiebreaker if teams finish level on points.
With more than 90 former international and Indian stars in action, the tournament boasts an impressive roster including Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Kieron Pollard, Harbhajan Singh, Dale Steyn and Eoin Morgan. Each franchise is led by a celebrated captain, blending experience with T20-style aggression.
League commissioner Michael Clarke described the competition as a celebration of cricketing memories and modern entertainment, while SGSE CEO Mahesh Bhupathi highlighted the league’s role in reviving elite cricket in Goa. For fans, the Legends Pro T20 2026 promises a rare chance to see cricket’s greats light up the field once again.
