Dubai Royals Clinch World Legends Pro T20 League 2026 Title with Commanding Chase

Dubai Royals defeated Pune Panthers by eight wickets in the final of the World Legends Pro T20 League 2026 at the 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium in Goa. Batting first after losing the toss, Pune Panthers piled up 194/4 in 20 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Martin Guptill (62 off 40), Upul Tharanga (55 off 39), and an explosive unbeaten 50 from Shane Watson off just 24 balls. In response, Dubai Royals chased the target comfortably, reaching 197/2 in just 19 overs with a scoring rate above ten runs per over.

The chase was anchored by Manvinder Bisla’s 67 off 44 balls and captain Shikhar Dhawan’s fluent 64 from 39 deliveries, putting together a decisive opening partnership that laid the foundation for victory.

After both openers departed, Samit Patel (28* off 14) and Ambati Rayudu (29* off 17) ensured there were no late hiccups, finishing the match with an unbeaten stand and sealing the championship in style. Earlier, Dubai chose to bowl first after winning the toss, a decision that ultimately paid off despite the Panthers posting a formidable total.
