Delhi Warriors kicked off their World Legends Pro T20 League 2026 campaign with an emphatic 9-wicket victory over the Dubai Royals at the 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium. After being put into bat, Dubai Royals posted a competitive 196 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs, setting a strong target in the season’s opening fixture.

He was ably supported by Shreevats Goswami, who scored a rapid 56 off 33 deliveries, forging a decisive partnership that all but sealed the contest. The Warriors reached 198 for 1 in just 16.3 overs, finishing the game with overs to spare.
